Can I play in regular cleats?
Yes, regular molded cleats, indoor soccer shoes and turf shoes are acceptable. No metal studs - only off field ;)
Are shinguards required?
Yes!
Are there special indoor rules?
Yes, and the refs will review these with each team's captain. Some important highlights:
No pushing other players into the walls. This may result in an immediate red card.
Sub on the fly, but make sure the player coming off is off the field before the player entering steps on the field
No jumping over the walls when making sub

How do I get to the tournament location? Carpools will leave Saturday morning around 11:00 am from the Safeway Parking Lot in the Castro outside the Starbucks. If you have a car, please bring it! If you don't, hop a ride to the Bladium there.
Miss the carpool? No problem - you can also take BART to Lake Merritt Station and Lift/Uber, Bus or Taxi to Bladium. It's a short ride. Bladium's address is: 800 W Tower Ave, Alameda, CA 94501
What if I don't have a team?
If you're not on a team, don't worry! We'll help match you to a team that's looking for players. Register as an individual, and you'll be placed on our 'Free Agent List', which will be shared with all coaches. If there are any players still on the the Free Agent List on Saturday, they will be placed on a team prior to the start of the tournament. Everyone will get to play!
Who is welcome to play?
All genders and skill levels are welcome! There will be divisions based on level of play, but no separation based on gender identity.
Will there be Food at Bladium, or the registration event Friday night?
Yes! Bladium has a bar and restaurant in the facilities, though we recommend bringing snacks to the tournament. There is also Almanac Brewery within walking distance of Bladium which regularly hosts food trucks on the weekend, but few other nearby options.
Hi Tops serves good pub grub at the Registration Party Friday evening. So don't worry if you're arriving in SF late. Here's a link to their menu.
What about uniforms?
No need to bring your team uniforms. Every player will receive a tournament t-shirt that will be your jersey.
